A huge cheers to each and every person who voted – we’ve smashed it!
Yep, Leeds Harley-Davidson is officially one of the UK & Ireland’s finalists in the Battle of the Kings competition. We couldn’t have done it without you and, with thousands of votes cast between the 30 contenders to whittle it down to just five finalists, there’s plenty of people to thank….But we’re not done yet.
Next up the Team BOOMBabY bike will be roaring down to London for a shot at the national championship. Can we pull off a coup and take the title? We say bring it on…
Our team may be small but there’s no-one more passionate when it comes to capturing the raw grit, spirit and essence of what it is to be part of the Harley-Davidson family. This challenge wasn’t about a simple custom job, it was taking the raw and untamed freedom that embodies everything H-D and pushing boundaries to create a bike worthy of the moniker.
Our competition may be tough but nobody said anything worth having was easy – just ask YouTube bodybuilding star, and the inspiration behind our bike, Lex Griffin. He knows the best results come from the most raw of materials.
Lex doesn’t need a fancy gym to push himself to the limit and we don’t need a ton of fancy upgrades to make our bike stand out from the crowd….Just the determination to be different. A snakeskin dip here, a chunky tank or cut fender there, and you have something special indeed.
You can find out more on our main Jennings Motor Group website:
Our TeamBOOMBaby bike will go head to head against custom Iron 883™ motorcycles created by Warr’s Kings Road, Dublin Harley-Davidson®, Maidstone Harley-Davidson® and Reading Harley-Davidson® at an final judging in London.
If our Iron 883 is chosen, it will be on its way to Wheels and Waves in France this June to represent the UK & Ireland in the huge battle for the Harley-Davidson EMEA title.
You can see more about our Battle of the Kings creation and check out the other finalists that we’ll be going up against, on the Custom Kings website.
Also don’t forget that if you love our bike you can recreate no only ours, but any of this year’s custom bikes at a maximum retail price of £12,995, so call in and talk to our Custom King if you've been inspired.
